WOO HOO! I'm partying online with 5 Minutes for Mom's!!!! I'm still pretty new at this whole blogging thing and as addicted as I am, I still haven't "met" a whole lot of other bloggers. So, I guess this is my chance! Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment and feel free to follow me if you'd like!
Let's see, I'm a 30 something artist, wife and homeschooling mother or four daughters. I love creating things. I draw, paint, sew things, make toys, build stuff (when I can). We try to be a pretty "natural" family. I breastfeed...A LOT, co-sleep, wear my baby, yaddah yaddah yaddah. I enjoy fashion although I'm FAR from fashionable, I was vegetarian for 10 years before my pregnancy with my last baby and I'm really trying to get back to it. My kids were raised vegan, but I would say that they are probably 75% vegan still (they LOVE fish).
Feel free to drop by anytime. I usually talk about stuff I've made, things we do in school and on occasion things that I've cooked/baked and I'd love to "meet" some new people!!!
Okay, so on to the prizes!
US1. DUH, shopping spree at Pedal Cars and Retro Collectibles (AWESOME!!!)
US11. Restaurant gift certificate (the hubby and I could use an anniversary dinner out)
US31. Amazon gift certificate (I hear a work book or two for the kiddos calling my name)
US32. Target gift card
US37. Visa Gift Card (aka gas for the minivan)
US39. Be My guest certificate (we could always use a two night stay somewhere)
US41. It's all too much....because it just is.
US57. Yoga kit
US65. OOOOOOH, Fantastic Mr. Fox!!!
US69. Itty Bitty Bookworm (my 3 year old LOVES books)
US73. Amazon Gift card
Okay, I could just keep going on...basically any gift card, curriculum or toddler centered prize would be awesome. Well, winning ANYTHING would be awesome!

Just an FYI that you typed your URL in wrong on the Mr. Linky at 5 Minutes. I had to retype it. You may want to go leave another link.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be a vegetarian, but my husband is such a meat eater, it would never work. Still got to cook. I can't even get him to just eat ground turkey instead of ground beef. He is definitely a midwestern boy! :)
I hope this week is fun for you, partying with the other bloggers and making new friends! Stop by and say hi when you get the chance!
EEK! Thanks Amy. I left a new link. Thanks for stopping by! I'm getting my reminder right now of how difficult the transition to vegetarian can be.
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say "HI" from the UBP.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I could never figure out how to "wear" any of my kids. I felt like I was trying to pretzel my baby. I always enjded up carrying my babies. :) I breastfed all 4 of my kids and my longest was my last at just past 2 yrs. I do miss it. :( I don't know that I could do the vegetarian "diet", but I wish we were more healthy.
ReplyDeleteVisiting here from UBP '10.

Dropping in from the party! I breastfed/pumped exclusively my girls and loved babywearing. Both were colicky and I don't know what I would have done without my slings/wraps. We also share a love of books and crafts... but we're big fans of meat around here. Hey, two out of three ain't bad! ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry..I guess I left my comment on the wrong post! I was just so excited about your thrift store find, I didn't think about the fact that I wasn't on your UBP10 post! Oops! Sorry!
ReplyDeleteI'm Stephanie from "And Twins make 5! - A Mommy Blog". Just making the rounds via the UBP 2010, hope to see you around my blog too!

ReplyDeleteI love your blog! Great thrift store finds......I look and look and if the moon is just right and my stars are aligned correctly....I MIGHT find something. :) But I keep looking. I love to thrift and garage sale.
ReplyDeleteI popped on by your party via 5 Minutes for Mom and I have to tell you that I'm addicted to your blog already and I've only been here for about 3 minutes! Oh, I do wish this was an in-person party, because you seem like someone I'd really like to know. Your writing spills over with cheeriness!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing a smile with me today! :)
Stopping by from the party!
ReplyDeleteI was a vegetarian for a long time...and then when I was pregnant, I CRAVED meat. What was up with that? LOL
I'm done breastfeeding now, but did bf all three of my boys. :)
Nice to meet you!
Wow, thanks Rebekah. That's the best compliment I've gotten all day! What IS up with the pregnancy meat cravings?! It's CRAZY!
ReplyDeleteHello! Dropping by from UBP! I love to create things as well... Although my creating is more along the lines of card making, knitting, gardening....
ReplyDeleteHave a happy party!
