Sleep Lessons for Baby, Part Deux
Well, it has been a week of no night nursing, no nursing to sleep and Zion going to sleep on her own. Still, so far so good. The one thing that we're still working on is getting her to sleep in her own bed. She is not a fan of her crib, but she does sleep most of the night with us. For some reason though, she has decided that once the sun starts to come up it's her queue to climb on top of me and sleep on my chest. I'm not really sure where that came from, but we'll work on one thing at a time.

I'm glad it's working out well for you all. I remember when both of my girls went through a phase of not sleeping anywhere, but on top of me. My oldest had to have her face on mine for a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteHa...Kids do the funniest things. My boys love sleeping on my back. Is that just weird? My back, really??
ReplyDeleteBut it is always nice to have a little of your freedom back. I love nursing, but I also love it when it is time to stop. Whoot!
Good luck with the sleeping situation. That is always really tough!
Early this morning she decided that she just could night sleep any longer unless she was sleeping on my face. Yes, my face. Babies are a strange species.
ReplyDeleteTransitions are always interesting. I had a chest sleeper for awhile, too.:)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know that you WON the give-away so come on by and give me your mailing info! Congratulations, Adrienne!
